F.I.N.E. Artist Residencies

F.I.N.E. Artist Residencies

As Program Manager at the award-winning Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, Angela created and managed the F.I.N.E. Artist Residency Series, presenting 26 visual artists for 700 hours of live museum programs in its first 3 years (2010-2013). From performance art to quilting, from costuming to clay, the F.I.N.E. Artists infused the life of the museum with diversity and surprise. Angela closely collaborated with each artist in residence to help them translate their distinct art practice to an all-ages, interactive audience. She presented an conference session encouraging other children’s museums to be braver in their programming with artists at the Association of Children’s Museums national conference in 2012.
